CAMP CAMP CAMP ! :D

Guess who are these peoples ?

Class photo , CHEESE ! :D ( with instructor Iskandar & Hazwan :D )
The three days two night camp by Camelot, was indeed a very valuable & enjoyable experience for all of us.
It has given us many memories to bring back.
Be it, the aeroplanes flying pass every five minutes or so.

Or our instructor or whoever was talking had to pause & wait for the noise the aeroplane made to stop.
Or the survival cooking, the height elements, the water activities & many more!
Yes, it was indeed a very good time we had spent there.
Most importantly what did we learn in the three core values of the YOG.
- Respect
- Excellence
- Friendship.
For respect, by allowing our teachers/instructors to talk to us without any disruption is showing due
respect to them.
For excellence, we proved that by conquering our fears & did our activities well.
Last but not least, Friendship.
During the camp, we played several team work games like Kayaking for example.
Through games like these, we are able to coorperate & agree with each other's opinion or way of doing things better. This way we can all succeed together ! :D
I believe these three core values of YOG are equally important. & As such we shall all strive together to achieve these values.

Wondering about what we did during the three days camp ?
Well, on the first day of the camp, we were doing our camp fire prep.
Each class had to choose a country, & 2E chose Japan.
After choosing a country, we are to do a performance on anything relating to the country.
For our class, we did a simple dance. The songs used are related to Japan, as for the dance. . .
We didn't do much, as we didn't have enough time. So we did cute little chicken dances(:
I must say i was impressed by Joshua's courage to be able to do a solo part of the dance in front of the other classes. He sure did us proud. (: Thank you very much.
Besides preparing for our campfire performance, we did general stations.
It is mainly consisting of a few team-building games.
We sure did enjoyed ourselves.
Last but not least, the highlight for the first day is . . .
SURVIVAL COOKING ! :D

We were given the materials needed for the cooking to be done.
Than we had to boil potatoes & the tiring thing about this is, we have to keep the flame alive.
& That's the hardest part, we need to consistently put in small twigs or dried leafs into the burning flame so as to keep it burning. Unlike at home, when you boil a potato or just simply boiling a pot of water, it usually doesn't take that long.During the survival cooking it took what seemed like ages for the water to boil & for the potatoes to be fully cooked.
Sadly for some students, their flame kept dying and they had to spend alot of effort on reviving the flame & had no time or little time for the potatoes to be fully cooked. Thus causing them to not even get to eat one potato. ): Aww.
Fortunately for my team we managed to have eat two potatoes per person.Good job !
You mus be thinking than what about those who didn't even get to eat, they must be straving !
Fear not, there's supper for them & its Beehoon ! So no worries peoples.

On the second day of camp, we did many height elements & watever activities.
Not forgetting we also did improvised rafting.

It was a very tiring yet exciting day.
For height elements, there were the flying fox, Challenge Rope course,Rock climbing & Abseiling.

& we had kayaking for the water activity.

Every single one of the activities mentioned above is without a doubt very fun! You should try it, if you have not. Kayaking was what i assumed most students loved the most ?
We needed to pair up & kayak around in the sea. Alot of team coorperation was needed.
Our instructors gave us some tasks like gathering together in the correct way as fast as possible.
Woah, it sounds easy but its not as easy as it sounds.
We also played catching, we the students, were the catchers & we had to catch two of our instructors. It was a very difficult feat to do, but we still managed to catch them! (:
Some while trying to catch the instructor, during the process their raft capsized but luckily nothing bad happened & i bet they enjoyed it though. Haha.
On the third day. ( sadly to say, its also the last day ) we did some area cleaning & continued to prepare for the finishing parts of our campfire performance.
During the campfire, it was very noisy & filled with students clapping, screaming.
Of course in a good way.
The campfire was really a good one.
& to sum up everything,
THIS IS ONE CAMP NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN! :DD
Oh yes, before i forget, the food there is . . .
DELICIOUS!I hope everybody have enjoyed themselves!
I think that's about all. .
Have a good day peoples,
